CHAIRS’ MISSIONS
Very briefly welcome audience and introduce session 1 minute ahead of time. Announce each speaker. Be in charge of your session and ensure that:
Strictly enforced time management Regular Presentation duration: 12 min Presentation + 3 min Q&A Invited papers: 25 min Presentation + 3 min Q&A Questions and Answers management (do not surpass the 15/30 min limit) Report problems or failures If Q&A time is insufficient ask the audience to ask questions at the end of the session or during the coffee break
ISSUE MANAGEMENT Missing presenters: Mark a pause during the exact timing initially planned (15 min or 30min) so that all other presentations stay on schedule Report a technical issue to emergency related contact A failure for one talk must NOT shorten the duration of the next talk.
